Larchmont Remembered is a live presentation about the sinking of the steamship Larchmont,  one of the worst maritime disasters in New England history, which happened off the coast of Block Island, Rhode Island in February of 1907. This fascinating presentation covers the story of the ship, its crew and passengers, as well as accounts of survival, panic, murder and miracles.   This program has been written, produced and presented by Daniel F. Harrington, long-time monthly columnist for the Providence Journal, and features digitally restored photos, engaging graphics, live music, and eyewitness accounts .  

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island and self-described recovering politician, Mr. Harrington is a former East Providence City Councilor and long-time monthly columnist for the Providence Journal. He is the past President of Chartwell Wealth Management and currently works as a Securities Principal for MassMutual. Mr. Harrington also serves as a Director for the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame.
